Ross Kemp on Gangs by And So I Watch You From Afar.
A Cut-up I made of Ross Kemp reviewing ‘Gangs’ using clips from the eponymous TV Series.

The rather lovely gents in Maybeshewill are currently holding an auction in aid of the Japan Tsunami & British Red Cross. There are three posters available and two of them feature my own photographs, one of the band, and another of a tree in Leicestershire. Please dig deep and bid for these, it’s going to a great cause and to help people that genuinely need it.
You can view the posters here, it’d be great if you could also reblog this!

Sounding like the bastard sons of Blood Brothers, The Plot To Blow Up The Eiffel Tower and Rolo Tomassi in places, but revealing an altogether more delicate side in others, this four track live taster from Leicester’s Some May Run shows promise in all the right places. Pitching smart, angular hardcore that knows when to stay the right side of all-out noise, and when to kick your teeth in.
This would be an impressive collection of songs if this were a studio recording, but the fact that these four cuts were all tracked live is even more astonishing - clearly everyone involved knows their chops and when to use them.
Most impressive is that a band so fresh faced is eschewing obvious influences in favour of a more leftfield approach to making music, joining a thriving scene in Leicester which wholeheartedly embraces off kilter riffs and odd time signatures, but bringing more than their fair share of individuality to proceedings. Some May Run are a genuinely exciting new band that deserve all the support you can give them.

So with the launch of my new website (www.chrisensell.com), I figured i’d give something away. I ran a comp a few weeks back giving away one of my prints, and due to the success of it, i’ll be giving away another one! This time it’s one of my favourite images I took last year of Jag from The Ghost of a Thousand. All you have to do is REBLOG this post and I’ll pick someone at random in a weeks time at 8pm. Hope you like my website and good luck guys!
